Don’t YET Own a Porsche?

Although full membership in the Porsche Club of America (PCA) requires ownership or lease of a Porsche (or being in a Porsche-related business), we also offer an option for those actively working toward Porsche ownership.

The PCA Test Drive program provides you a one-year subscription to Porsche Panorama, the club's national monthly magazine, a temporary account to log on to our website, and the monthly Mart Fresh News email newsletter. The magazine provides you with news and feature stories covering all aspects of Porsche as well as technical articles that impart valuable information about the cars we drive. Crucially, the temporary website account gives you online access to hundreds of Porsches for sale by PCA members in The Mart, which is also featured in every issue of Panorama.

Although PCA Test Drive is not a full membership in PCA and does not entitle you to some member benefits (such as attending member-only events, entering the Member-Only Raffle, voting, or becoming a member of a Region). That said, the Porsche Club of America – San Diego Region welcomes Test Drive participants as guests and invites eligible applicants to selected regional activities, including social gatherings, driving tours, and special events.

Once enrolled, a San Diego Region Test Drive contact will reach out to welcome you and help answer common buyer questions — new vs. used, model differences, warranties, pre-purchase inspections, and more. Many participants appreciate having guidance from a fellow enthusiast rather than a salesperson. Test Drive participants also receive regular updates on San Diego Region events they are invited to attend.

PCA Test Drive is $56 for a one-year subscription (renewable). If you purchase a Porsche within your one-year Test Drive subscription, call the PCA National office at (410) 381-0911 and the balance of your Test Drive term will be converted to full PCA Membership. PCA reserves the right to reject an application to join the Test Drive program or revoke a Test Drive subscription for any reason.
